Elephant Gerald's High Noon Swing Band

The High Noon Swing Band is a country-jazz ensemble under Elephant Gerald Productions, built around the unlikely but natural pairing of jazz saxophone and country guitar. Drawing from improvisation, swing, and Americana traditions, the project delivers a sound that’s new, rooted, and distinctly Western.

Available in flexible configurations depending on event size and setting.

Featured Members

(In addition to the Elephant Gerald Duo)

Cristian Collins

Country Guitar

Christian Collins plays from the deep end of Americana roots music.  Bluegrass drive, country grit, and an ear for melody shaped on Montana stages. Known for his work with The River Ramblers, his sound is old-time and rustic, with just enough swing in the pocket to keep things unpredictable.

Ephraim Mortenson

Bass Fiddle

Ephraim Mortenson holds down the low end for the Elephant Gerald Project on upright bass. A standout jazz bassist and core member of The River Ramblers, Ephraim delivers rock-solid time, tasteful lines, and the kind of groove that makes great swing music feel effortless.

John Rosett

Lap Steel | Mandolin

John Rosett is a versatile multi-instrumentalist best known for his work with Night Blooming Jasmine and Cash For Junkers. On lap steel guitar and mandolin, he brings a deep well of country and western swing flavor to Elephant Gerald’s High Noon Swing Band, blending twang, melody, and old-school dance hall energy into the group’s country-jazz sound.
